    evil of the Pisheogues.
On May eve people throw holy water on the cow houses and make the sign of the cross over them. They believe that its by the power of the evil one the Pisheogues are worked. They also think that people come and milk their cows during the night.
People think it is not right for children to pick flowers on May day for the good people would do some harm to them. They also believe that it is wrong to sleep out or near the river on May eve because the good people would have power on them. Some people pick herbs on May day as they believe they have healing powers.
