    Bean mhic agus a máthair chéile, cat is luc ag faire a chéíle

    Ná díol bó bhaoghal* , na ceannuigh bó bhaoghal agus ná bí coidhche gan bhó bhaoghal
    * A cow with a fault - Mrs. Sheehan said that some people thought it was Bó Mhaol but she didn't think so. The final portion meant that it was better have a cow with a fault than no cow at all.
