  2. On St. Patrick's day the people wear shamrock, the girls wear crosses and the boys wear badges.
    St. Patrick's servant was cutting a tree, on the 16th of March, for fuel. His axe was very blunt and he could not cut the tree. He sat down and having rested for a while went to work again
