    A man named John Baffedy was riding a donkey through Rathomre village.

    A man named John Baffedy was riding a donkey through Rathmore village. He was beating the donkey. He met a priest named Fr. Scanlan. "Why, why, why" said Fr. Scanlan "beating an ass that carried our Lord to Jerusalem." "O, then Father," said Baffedy. "If I was waiting for this ass to take me to Jerusalem I would not get there for a long time."
