    When the farmers lit the bon-fires they drove their cows by the side of it

    An unlucky day to get married
    FRIDAY
    No one in this district would go into a new house or change from one house to another on Friday. No one gets married on Friday
    THURSDAY
    Should you be at a funeral on Thursday you should not visit any sick friend that day
    SATURDAY
    Anything started on Saturday is never finished
    SUNDAY
    Whats made up on Sunday is knocked on Monday. This saying is much believed by the farmers If the cows break through a gap into the cornfield or into the garden
