Boils should be poulticed with linseed meal, the old people put the mouth of a hot bottle to the boil and it cured it.
Sty in the eyes were cured by rubbing your fasting spittle for nine morning in succession.
Ringworm Rub sheep's dip to it once a day for three days.
Headaches Rub vinegar to it.
Sore ear. Dip cotton wool in whiskey and put it into the ear.
The yellow jaundice. Dig ten worms out of the ground before day and cut off the heads of them. Put the rest of them into a jar of porter and drink it.
A pain in your head of leg. Rub boiling vinegar.
Lumps in your throat.
Poultice it with hot salt or hot meal.
Sprain
Put the juice of the Marsh mallow to it.
Stings from Nettles.
