   James Daly, John McAuliffe and D. M Lane of
   the Commons. Newmarket Co. Cork were each able to
   mow an acre of hay in a day

   Told by Nora OSullivan Glenlara, Newmarket.
   obtained same from her father John O'Sullivan

   
   Lott Ahern of Cummer Meelin Co. Cork is able to mow an
   acre and a half of hay in a day

   Told by Corn McAuliffe Cummer. Newmarket Co. Cork
   obtained same from his father Jerh. McAuliffe Cummer

2. Local Heroes - Dancers

   A number of noted dancers lived in the locality.
   namely. Michael Daly of Inchintotane. Timothy Finnucan
   of same address, a family named Keneally the
   majority of whom emigrated and won several prizes
   for dancing in America.

   Mrs. Hannah O'Keefe "
   Patrick Latchford Taur
   John O'Callaghan Glasheenanareged
   The above were taught by James Fitzgerald and
   Denis Lane of Glounakeele.
   Dancing schools were held in the different areas
   by the above teachers in farm house and in barns
   where the pupils assembled for instruction. The pupils
