    Thatching.
    My father is a thatcher. The first thing he wants is reed. Teed is the straw of wheat and it grown on the land. Reed cannot be let through the threshing machine because it would break it. He has to get timber and make scollops. He has to point the scollops at both ends.
    He has to get a panger and fill it with scollops. A panger is part of a sheaf of reed cut and tied with a rope. He must get a hand leather to drive the scollops and to provide his hands from being blistered. He has to get a thatching rake which he makes out of timber and nails to rake off the loose thatch off the house.
