soldier and went to live in London. When she died she was buried in England, but there is a head stone to her memory in Newmarket Protestant grave yard.
"Oh make her a grave
Where the sunbeams rest,
When they promise a glorious morrow
They'll smile oer her sleep
Like a beam from the West
From her own beloved Island of sorrow."
