Story (No 43)

One night Con Shine was coming from a neighbours house. He was coming towards the fairy field in his own land in Lisrobin, when he heard a noise behind him. He knew about the fairy field and he got afraid. When the noise passed him out he found it was a calf. The calf came back again and walked after him. It looked through every gap and then ran after him. When he came to his own bocharín the calf remained there. He was not gone far when it came running after him. It ran up and down the boreen four times while he was going down. It was as soon as he at the house. He called the dogs.
