- Story (16) My grandaunt one night was in bed. She was sleeping with her sisters. Her grandmother who was dead for years came to her, and took her out by the hand.
She said she wanted her to show her the fresh milk that was put in the pecks the night before. She was with her mother putting it there. When she took the milk, she took her by the hand, and put her to bed. When she woke in the morning she was dressed and in the bed with her father and mother in a different room. Because she was dressed they believed her when she told the story to them.(continues on next page)
