The Sceilg List last year was not too bad. This is a verse from it.
    "Shrove is now over,
    And marriages were few,
    And many of the girls,
    Are again in the stew.
They made eyes at certain boys,
But it was all that they could do,
    For to make a dash,
    You must have cash,
    Or you won't be welcome,
    At famed Feale View.
Now Mr. Bill, shake up your till,
    And pay out Mary Anne,
    Since she came west,
    She has done her best,
To get some kind of a man."
