  1. Long ago in Ireland there used to be a landlord in every district, and there was a landlord in this district also. The name of this landlord was Colonel Aldworth.
    He owned all the mountain of Milleen. After a short time Colonel Aldworth sold the mountain to a man named Rev J. B. Heard, who lived in a place called Bath in England.
    Colonel Aldworth was married to a woman named Lady Mary Aldworth. The Aldworths were looked upon as good landlords, because they never put any body out of his lands.
    Lady Mary Aldworth was looked upon as a very bad woman. She would give plenty to eat to every Catholic that would turn protestant.
