    Long ago the old people said several houses were haunted. There is a house in Ballincollig called the oriel lodge and it is supposed to be haunted. Not long ago a man and his wife saw a white woman at the kitchen door. One night while they were in bed the bed clothes were pulled right off the bed. This continued for three nights. yo yo yo

    It is also said that Ballincollig castle is haunted. There is a dark room in the castle and it is said if you went in Brian Boru on horse back would appear to you.
