  1. Whooping Cough-- was cured long ago by drinking the milk left after a ferret, and in a very short time the cough would go away.
    Warts-- were cured long ago by putting a knot for every wart in a piece of woollen thread, and according as the knots are rotting the warts rot also.
    Wild Fire-- is a sore in the face. It was cured long ago by writing your name around the sore.
