  1. "Jenkins's Inch" is in the townland of Boolypatrick and in the parish of Blarney. It was famous one time for the holding of Sports, and later Feiseanna were held there. It got its prefix "Jenkins" from the owner who lived in a house at the Western end of the field where also he had a Flour and Meal Mill. The remains of the buildings can be seen to the present day as well as the remains of the Mill race that ran by the side Shournagh Road. The pond, or lake can also be traced at the bottom of a cliff at the right side of this road.
