  1. It is said that if you had the measles they would be cured by drinking the milk that a ferret leaves after him.
    It is said that if you had chin cough that it would be cured by going under the donkey's legs three times.
    If you had ring worm in any part of your body it would be cured by rubbing black ink to it.
    If you had wild-fire it would be cured by writing your name on it with a black pencil.
    If you had boils they would be cured by putting a luke-warm black bottle against them.
    If you had a tooth ache it would be cured by gathering cob-webs and putting them into the tooth and leave them for a while and when you would pull them out that the pain would be gone.
    It is said that if you had pains in any part of your body that they would be cured by rubbing sea weed to them.
