- Mr Towsend was the landlord of Bridgemount. He lived in Gurrane, where Patrick Casey is living now. It was he that called Catairgeegane, Bridgemount. Once when Mr. Towsend was dead three or four years, there were two men stealing a tree from the wood and they saw Mr. Towsend crossed legs up in the tree and he told them not to take the tree but they took it in spite of him.
