  1. There was once a woman living in a village. Her house was situated near the Church. Every evening she went to pay a visit to the Blessed Sacrament. One evening about six o'clock when the woman that took care of the Church shut the Church door leaving the woman inside, for she thought there was no one inside. When the woman came to the door she found out that the door was locked. She had nothing to do but to stay there until morning. She went into the Confession box and made her mind easy. At about twelve or one o'clock she heard the noise of footsteps coming on the alter. She looked out and saw a priest dressed in his vestments ready to celebrate Mass. He turned and asked was there anyone there to answer Mass. The woman did not stir but when she was let out in the morning she immediately went to the priest and told him.
    He asked her would she go there again the night after and he said he would go with her. She said she would. Then the priest told her to be there at eleven o'clock and he would meet her there. She went
