  1. From Cork's rebel city some thousands did go,
To see some fine play on the hills of Cloghroe
The Lees and the Nils they came there by rail
Coach ford and Donoghmore too did not fail
Aghabullogue and Blarney all did set sail
    We are the rattling boys
    We are the conquering boys
We are the rattling boys of Clondrohid
    1
We sent them a challenge to the town of Macroom
That we'ed meet them out there and that very soon
The rowdies they came with sticks to their backs
But the boys of Clondrohid they too are not slack
For we gave them all round a thundering whack
    Chorus
When the ball was thrown up the captain did cry
Ye men of Clondrohid to day now or die
With two goals we rushed in, in less than no time
And points followed after and that's very fine
The outsiders did cry that the play it was prime
    Chorus
The martyrs that day they looked with a frown
For little they thought that their pride would pull down
