  1. When the soot falls.
When the sky is dark and cloudy.
When the mountains seem near you.
The river roaring at a certain point.
When the cat is near the fire.
When there is a ring around the moon.
    When swallows fly low.
    When the otter comes inland.
    When ones corns get painful.
    When tobacco gets moist.
When the robin sings inside in a bush.
It is a sign of good weather to find the robin singing on the outside of a bush in the morning.
When the cattle and sheep on mountains move down towards the valleys a storm or broken weather is certain.
When mountain cattle are found heading for the top or on the top of the mountain it is a certainty that the weather is fine or about to be in the near future.
