From Mrs Daniel Lynch (53), Maulnahorna.
Taken down by Denis Lynch (10) Maulnahorne 9-5-38
A blind fiddler once lived at Maulnahorna. He used to go around the country playing at weddings and parties for his hire and at crossroads dances. He was named Paddy Martin. There was a dancing-master also teaching dances, and he used to employ Paddy Martin. Martin hoarded a good sum of money, and was very happy at the end of his life.
