  1. A certain Mr. Wagner lived near Dunderragh. He was a bigoted Protestant and he had such a hatred for Catholics that if any one spoke well of them in his presence he would immediately put them to death. He always had a Protestant flag up.
    One day a Catholic came to him and tried to convert him, but all in vain and at the cost of his life. A short time afterwards the Spirit of this man appeared to him when he was walking in his garden and struck him blind. He swore he would become
