    There is an old ruin near Kilmalooda, it is supposed to be built in the same century as Timoleague Abbey - the 14th century. At a distance, it looks like an immense ivy bush it is so overgrown with ivy. When you would get to the top of this, you would have a view of the countryside for miles around.
    Mrs O Connor who lives in Lislevane told me about "Downdaniel castle" as her son lives near it, and my Uncle, Timmy Collins, who lives in Gurranes, told me about the crosses.
