    First they used make ridges with shovels. Then they would make holes with spades and they used have bags on their backs with the potatoes in it and they used put them into the holes and cover it again. This is the way they used spray them they would have a barrel of lime and water and they would wash the lime in three waters then they would keep the third water and spray them with it.
