    Long ago they buyers used never keep more than one penny luck money out of the price of an animal. But in the year of the land-league they increased it, and sent it to Dublin to help the land-league funds. When the land-league was over the buyers still kept luck money, and in the years of the war when prices were high, they increased it to 2S.
