    Long go there was a man named Jerry Deasy he lived in Dunnycove in the time of the famine. He was dying with the hunger so he came up to my grandfather for food my grandfather gave him potatoes and milk and he ate a big meal of food every day until he died he came to my grandfather for food. When he was dying he asked my grandfather for a cup of milk and he gave it to him and he told him to pray for him and he said I am alright now. The ruins of his house remain there
