    he with others were returning from sea about midnight when they observed a ship bearing down on them at high speed. He soon understood from her movement and appearance that it was the same ghost and informed the crew. As she drew near they could plainly see the beautiful ship with all sails and all the lights aflame but no soul on board. Excitement ran high as she drew nearer when suddenly in one rapid movement she put about to sea. She ceased to make her ghostly appearance about fifty years ago.
