  1. Sheanain Tobac
There lived in Dunowen West a famous poet. He lived in a straw house which is used as a old house by John Whelton Dunowen. His name was Sheanain Tobac he was a great poet and a singer. He composed many songs and poetry. He was known all over Ireland for many songs he composed both in Irish and English. He spent both day and night till he got up in the morning till he went to bed in the night writing on a skin as there was no paper there that time. With a feather he wrote on the skin.
Sheanin Tobac was a nick name he got.
