  1. The old people made their own clothes from the wool of the sheep. There were no shops there. If they wanted to dye their clothes they would get the yellow blossom of the furze bush and boil the clothes with it and in that way the clothes would be yellow. They had no tea and they drank alot of milk. If they had corn they would cut it with a hook or sickle and thresh it with a flail. They ploughed the land with a spade. They made soap out of the fat of the cow. They had no creamery and they churned all the
