  1. Lisduff
There is a liss near our house and it is called the black fort it is said that Cneapa Lease the King of the Munster fairies lived there long ago and it is said that all the Munster fairies used to gather there every year and hold their ard-feis which lasted for a fortnight and then the fairies returned to their various forths again.
There is also an old lead mine at Lisduff which was worked fifty or sixty years ago a Government official visited it recently and it was hoped that it would be worked again.
