One of these houses was at Derk, one at Dunnicove and although they were shipped from Slate Cove in Dunowen there was no store houses got up there. There was a granary erected at Beal a Cuaisín and as only the big farmers grew wheat for their own use or export they were far fewer than the potato houses.
