  1. About forty years ago there was a quilt stolen from an old woman and she reported the matter to the priest. The priest came to her house and he asked her had she suspicion on any person and she said no. Well, said the priest you will have to get over it. Well, Father said she I suppose I will never get under it.

  2. About fifty years ago there lived in Kilbrittain a man named Pake Fahy. One day he met the parish Priest who gave him a half-crown and a note on which was written " Please give bearer a dog licence for Father O'Leary". Pake put the half-crown into his pocket and kept it and got the dog licence for the priest. A few weeks passed and one day the Sergeant met the priest and said to him, " Father have you forgotten the half-crown for
