O, Mary, look down on me and draw me to God.

O, Mary, look down on me and draw me to God. O, my Mother, may God be everything to me, as He has been everything to thee. Draw thy mantle around me Mother, mine. Keep Jesus in my heart, and keep my heart for Jesus. O, my Mother, I confide to thy care the salutary wound that the Cross has left me.
The hands of Christ, seem very frail.
For they were broken, by a nail.
But only they Reach Heaven at last.
Whom these frail, broken Hands hold fast.
