In the parish of Kilbrittain long ago there lived a man and after his supper he went for a walk down gis own lane. When he was about the middle of the lane he heard what he took to be crying so he listened on until it came nearer to him and then he found out is was the beanside. He thought it was the nicest caoining he had ever heard.
It was so beautiful that he listened on until it was almost one mile away.
On his way home he saw a white figure before him and who was there but his brother who was dying.
