    The Seagull.
When Our Lord was escaping from His enemies, he passed by the sea shore.
The seagulls covered up His footprints, so that His enemies were unable to teach Him. Ever since then, it is difficult to find a seagulls nest.

It is unlucky to refuse to stand sponsor for a child. The child would die.
    2.
It is unlucky to stand sponsor for two children in the same year.
The following is a rhyme which foretells the destiny of a child born on each day.
    "Monday for health
    Tuesday for wealth
Wednesday the best day of all
    Thursday for crosses
    Friday for losses
    Saturday no luck at all.
But the child who is born on the Sabbath day
Is bonny and happy and bight and gay."
    Another rhyme says.
Monday's child is fair of face
Tuesday's child is full of grace.
