    A young curate was on the Stations with his Parish Priest and regarded the people of the particular district as being rather dull. He has often mentioned the fact to his pastor who did not agree with him and always warned him that under that dull exterior there was a sound sense of humour. One morning at breakfast after the Station they chatted with the man of the house and some of the neighbours. The curate thought to try his skill at telling "yarns". He spoke of ghosts and said that he honestly believed his own house was haunted, having heard footsteps and in various parts of the building. "Well Mike", said he, to the man who sat next him, "what would you do in that case". "Oh", said Mike, "if it happened in my bothán, or in any neighbours bothán
