  1. Doncadh Dubh was a highwayman who lived west of Rosscarbery many years ago. He was a bad wicked man who had no mercy for anyone. he was a tall, strong, ugly, wicked looking man. He robbed many people in West Cork.
    He used to wear a thick black cloak over his shoulders and a pair of gaiters on his legs. He used to wear a black mask on his face and a large, wide black, hat. He used always hide his face with the mask.
