    Hail bloom of Phoebus the pride of Erin
    Which from Lough Lean do its (?) bear sway
    To which fair haven ships from each nation
    Ride light unshaken by winter's sea
    Where the swan resorting, fishes sporting
    Hounds make vocal in a woodland near
    (?) like thunder creating wonders
    And the old seemed young at a hundred years.

    The gods and graces and dancing mages
    The apple Venus won (?) here it grew
    Which caused the beams of the Trojan legions
    And lovely Helen's misfortune too.
    It was here Actean had seen this fair one
    Diana bathing in a verdant grove
    The mad and crazy regained their reason
    In this old fairy sweet land of love.
