  1. There is an empty house underneath "Cum an Gcapall" hill in Sillertane, and it is haunted by faries. People say there are fairies singing and dancing there every night. It is called the Straw-land house.
    One night as I was coming east beyond it, a queer man came out and he called me back but I hurried home very frightened. There is a liss in Bob Deane's field of Pookeen and the fairies are there.
    If you left the feet water inside, the fairies would come in. We forgot
