  1. About two miles to the west of Dromore School, is situated the site of an old church which was founded by Saint Colman. This historical spot is situated in the townland of Colomane, which derives its name from the Saint who lived there in former days.
The name of the field in which this church was situated is Slieve na Hulla it is a field of about two acres in size, and it has a southerly aspect. The owner of this field is Mr James Crowley; this man, or his father never tilled it, but traces of ridges are visible in parts of it which go to show us that it was stilled sometime in former days.
There are no traces of the ancient church in this field, but there is a holy well situated approximately in the centre of it but there are no "rounds" made at this well now.
