    Crosses of Our Lord are kept in every house.
    A small Sacred Heart lamp is lighted before a picture of Our Lord.
    At Christmas all the houses are decorated with holly
    On May Day the elder is brought in as a sign that summer is coming. Some people bring in whitethorn.
    On Palm Sunday palm is blessed at Mass.
    People keep some of the palm in the house for the year.
    On St. Patrick's Day Shamrock is worn by Irish people the world over.
    From certain Holy Wells water is taken and it is said to be a cure for
