    There is a holy well in Denis Herlihy's land of Droumcoora. It is situated on top of a hill called Carrig Liat. It only holds about a cup of water even when it it is raining. That was a very backward place long ago and that was the reason Mass was said there.

  2. There is the remains of an old church in Ballyourane. The priests used to say mass in it long ago. There is a bakery nearby where they used to cook. They used to hide the Chalices there. There is a very big rock near where near by where the people used to watch the soldiers from for fear they would be coming. The priests used to hide in the bakery too. It is of a round shape and it is going down under the ground. There are very small doors going
