- Snares are still made in my district. They are made to catch rabbits and hares. They are made out of copper wire. Six strands of wire about one foot six inches long are wound round each other leaving an eye in the top of the wire for the other end to go through.
Bird baskets were made in my district also, but they are not made now.

- Every girl and many boys go out in a field picking daisies, and they make chains of them. Rabbit-catching is carried on here now, but hare catching is not carried on here. Snares are used more for catching rabbits around here.(continues on next page)
