  1. Pop guns were very popular toys long ago. A piece of elder used to be got about one foot and a half long, and a hole used to be burned through it, and another piece used to be got about one foot three ins, long and it used to be used as a ramming rod through the big piece. Two pieces of paper used then be got and made hard with spits and rolling. When the rod is shoved out and the outer piece will fly out.
