  1. One of the places is which treasures had been hidden was the townland of Skehanore.
    It is unknown who hid it there, or when it was hidden, or why it was hidden. It is supposed to have been hidden in three places in the townland.
    In recent years attempts were made to unearth the places where it was supposed to be hidden, and a man named J. Levis succeeded in finding gold sovereigns, but it is unknown what was their value.
