One the second day cows and heifers and calves are sold. The buyers go to the farmers houses buying sows the day before the fare.There aren't any fairs held around forts, castles, hills around here. Long ago toll was paid to the Swantons but now now. The Swantons were landlords over the townland. The toll was a crown for a bull, a half-crown for a cow, and a shilling for a car of bovines.
