    which is on its north bank. It widens by degrees and flows in a south westerly direction. It forms a branch of the Coolagh river, which it joins about three quarters of a mile from Ballydehob. The Coolagh river flows into the sea at Ballydehob. There are many small streams in the townland but they have not names.
