  1. Arthur Murphy said that he once lived in Dublin, his mother died and left ten boys in the family. His father was very poor so he put Arthur into an Industrial school. When he was sixteen years he was let out. He did not know where his home was so he went begging. Sometimes he used to work and earn money but he was too lazy to work; he would not tie his shoes any day.
    Crooky said that his name was Jerry Driscoll but that he was fishing for trout with dynamite he lit the fuse and kept it too long in the hand until it blasted and then he got a crook.
