Apple-picker, blackbird, bullfinch, brown-linnet, black-diver, corncrake, crane, curlew, chaffinch, crow, cuckoo, dipper, green linnet, gannet, gold finch, grey-rook, hedge-sparrow, hawk, jackdaw, magpie, nightingale, owl, peacock, robin, snipe, starling, skylark, swallow, swan, sparrow, seagull, stonechat, thrush, tomtit, wren, wagtail, woodcock, waterhen:
There are a few migratory birds namely the corncrake, cuckoo, starling, swallow, and the snipe.
The corncrake comes to this country in the month of April from Africa. She makes her nest in a hayfield with wads of hay. She is often heard singing 'corncrake' during the short Summer nights. She migrates to Africa in the Harvest, although some people believe she remains in some hole during the Winter months. The cuckoo builds no nest of her own but lays an egg in the nest of another bird, usually in the nest of a robin
